Thousands of Qld Catholic school teachers to go on strike

Over 7000 Queensland Catholic school teachers and support staff will walk off the job tomorrow, with the state’s independent education union threatening further action unless their demands are met.

Catholic school work bans announced at the beginning of the month remain in place.

The half-hour strike will affect 196 schools, beginning at 9:00am tomorrow.
