When an alpaca herd trotted onto the school farm at Bonnyrigg Public in south-western Sydney, the original idea was to protect the flock of eight chickens on site.

School farm co-ordinator, Dean Love, says the alpaca herd and chickens are enhancing the wellbeing of students and helping them achieve learning goals.
