'Slick Government PR campaigns' not the answer to teacher shortage: NSWTF

The NSW Teachers Federation (NSWTF) has thrown its support behind the Federal Government’s review into initial teacher education, saying the findings confirm what is already known about the key factors fuelling teacher shortages.

“If we don’t pay teachers what they are worth, we won’t get the teachers that we need," NSWTF president Angelo Gavrielatos said.
