It’s Thursday morning at Lilydale Heights College, and five boys are trapped in a blacked-out car, their bodies engulfed in puffy ski gear. The vehicle circles a nearby roundabout 20 times, then pivots back to the school.

Disorientated, the students stumble out, don motorbike helmets swathed in orange cellophane, and crawl into an air-locked science lab.
