SA AEU boss quits amid shoplifting probe

The South Australian branch secretary of the Australian Education Union Leah York has quit amid shoplifting allegations.

SA Police are investigating after an Australian Education Union official was accused of shoplifting.

The AEU said York had resigned following "an incident in Mt Gambier last week".
