When it comes to designing spectacular, larger-than-life projects, mechatronics teacher Conan O’Brien has come up with a stunner. Indeed when his students at Gungahlin College in the ACT signed up to his class, they probably didn’t expect to be blasting rockets and high-altitude balloons into the atmosphere – but that’s exactly what O’Brien had in mind.
Mechatronics and IT students at Gungahlin College have designed and launched a rocket in preparation for a high-altitude balloon launch later this year.
