Primary school arts program taps into Indigenous knowledge systems

A primary school in rural north-west Victoria has gone well beyond splaying colours of black, red and yellow on a page in honour of Indigenous culture, piloting a unique, open-ended art program.

Deakin University lecturer Gavin Pocock has been getting kids out into nature and using Indigenous knowledge systems to produce artistic outcomes and learn about Indigenous sustainability practices.
