Peak body for Vic students wants two mental health days per term

Victoria’s peak body representing students is calling on schools to give students two “no questions asked” mental health days per term, as many young people struggle with the state’s sixth COVID lockdown.

Mental health support services have reported enormous increases in demand since the pandemic began.

The Victorian Student Representative Council (VicSRC)’s student mental health support pledge has currently been signed by four schools.
