Not a mandate: Vic students asked to wear masks in class

Victorian students aged eight and over are being strongly advised to wear a mask in the classroom until the end of winter, but the State Government has stopped short of imposing a mask mandate in schools.

Education Minister Natalie Hutchins said the updated advice didn’t signal a change in mask policy.
