'No frills' Budget 2023 disappointing, key education stakeholders say

Prime Minister Chris Hipkins has handed down his election year budget leaving teachers’ unions largely “disappointed” with what’s on the table for education.

What educators wanted to see was funding to address crucial issues around staffing, workload relief and decent pay, but PM Hipkins election-year Budget appears to offer little in these areas.
