'No disciplinary knowledge': primary students missing out on history education

Many Victorian students are leaving primary school without a solid shred of disciplinary knowledge in history, the head of the state’s history teachers’ association has warned.

“History has not appeared in a department of education strategy for the last 15 years," HTAV president Deb Hull says.
