New research project to boost literacy with art

An international research project will attempt to improve young people’s literacy by engaging with art.

Professor Georgina Barton said students will be taught how to interact and respond to artworks through creative expression such as ‘InstaPoetry’.

The University of Southern Queensland’s Professor Georgina Barton will be the Australian lead on the project.
