The Australian Curriculum Assessment and Reporting Authority (ACARA) has launched an online hub to help teachers get to grips with the new curriculum.
Key changes in Version 9.0 of the curriculum include a 21 per cent reduction in content descriptions, a stronger focus on phonics in English, higher standards for maths skills at the early primary level, and a stronger focus on consent and respectful relationships.
