An increasing number of schools are wrongly using NAPLAN results to identify gifted students, a trend that’s allowing many high-potential children to slip through the cracks, a researcher has warned.
Current estimates indicate there could be as many as 500,000 gifted students sitting unidentified in classrooms around the country.
