Movers, Shakers & Policymakers - Dorothy Hoddinott, human rights champion
Dorothy has spent much of her life as a tireless and fierce advocate of human rights, variously lobbying, protecting and upholding the rights of refugee and asylum seeker students in this country. Now retired after 23 years as principal of Holroyd High School in Sydney’s west, one of her proudest achievements has been the establishment of Friends of Zainab, which has provided scholarships for hundreds of young people across the nation. It’s been an amazing life, but there’s much to do yet.
