Melbourne Catholic schools announce huge shift to the science of learning

With the backing of multiple education heavyweights, Melbourne’s Catholic schools are the latest school system to announce its teaching instruction will be overhauled to align with the science of learning.

Student-led learning and balanced literacy do not feature in the Melbourne Archdiocese’s plan. Instead, teacher-led instruction will underpin practice in all classrooms.
