La Trobe’s Nexus program enticing high achievers into primary schools

A ‘first-of-its-kind’ university program will receive a $7.9 million funding injection in a bid to attract ‘the best and brightest’ into primary teaching amid a widespread workforce shortfall.

The pilot will deliver 105 primary school teacher places across Victoria and New South Wales.
