Innovative Pilbara school's unique Indigenous STEM program
Marble Bar Primary School, set on Nyamal country in the Pilbara region of Western Australia, is surrounded by pristine plains of red soil, dotted by bush flora and fauna that makes it the perfect site for scientific inquiry.
A typical STEM class at Marble Bar includes activities such as going out on Country to study local fauna and flora, then mapping the landscape with drones operated by students themselves.
