Australia’s gifted students are at significant risk of school refusal, with many families enduring emotional and financial stress as a result of schools failing to meet their child’s learning needs, an advocacy group has warned.

Around half a million gifted students currently sit unidentified in classrooms across the country, TAG estimates.
