Global report provokes anger over educational inequity

The Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) has released its latest Education at a Glance report, which provides comparable national statistics on various education measures for 49 countries around the world.

Australian teachers have the third highest average instruction times of all countries surveyed, amounting to more than 1000 hours per year.
