Gifted students ‘hugely disadvantaged’ in Australia: researcher

There is a “quiet epidemic” of underachievement by gifted students going on, according to one expert.

Estimates of how many gifted students are underachieving vary from 10 to 50 per cent, which translates to anywhere between 40,000 and 200,000 students nationally.
