Generations in Jazz festival hits right note with schools

They came from far and wide, from Rockhampton to Auckland, to raise the roof at this year’s record-breaking Generations in Jazz festival. In its biggest turnout yet, 4400 students and staff flooded into Mount Gambier from 107 schools around Australia to take part in the annual school band competition. And, for the first time, a New Zealand school joined in the music making.
