Former AEU head replaces Mulheron as NSWTF president

Long-standing NSW Teachers Federation (NSWTF) president Maurie Mulheron has retired and a member’s vote has affirmed former Australian Education Union (AEU) head Angelo Gavrielatos as his replacement.

Maurie Mulheron has been president of the NSWTF since 2012.

Gavrielatos lead the AEU for seven years, before departing in 2015 for a position with global teachers' union Education International ...
