Escalating number of temporary contracts 'scarring' NSW teachers: report

The ‘ballooning’ number of teachers placed on fixed-term contracts in NSW public schools endure pressure to work harder and to ‘toe the line’ with school leadership in a bid to secure their roles, research has found.

The report's data was drawn from a state-wide survey run by the NSW Teachers’ Federation.
