‘Enterprise skills’ new basics for workforce

The Foundation for Young Australians (FYA) New Work Order report details ‘The New Basics’ for jobseekers. These basics are called ‘enterprise skills’ and they are transferable skills required in the current workforce.

“We drama teachers are perfectly positioned to deliver the required capabilities, curriculum expectations and enterprise skills our students need for their future,” Nicholas Waxman says.

The skills are as follows:

Problem solving
Communication
Financial literacy
Critical thinking
Creativity
Teamwork
Digital literacy
Presentation skills
