The COVID-19 crisis has brought about a strange side effect in the UK, people who would normally be holidaying in a warm and dry foreign country have been forced to stay at home and have decided the safest holidaying alternative is to go camping, resulting in thousands of brand new, but abandoned tents, stoves and camping chairs scattered across the British countryside.
Camping’s not meant to be just about fun, it’s supposed to be character building, so each year Gordon Cairns goes about building the character of his students through a bit of suffering, as well.
