Cameron Gooda was at a crossroads. Having left school and been working in Indigenous Housing in Rockhampton for 11 years, despite having a well-paid job, company car and living comfortably, he was desperately unhappy and hating going into work each day.
“I have realised what the power of someone like me has by simply being present within a school community and the impact it can have on students, parents, carers and even teaching staff,” Gooda says.
