Bold pilot program aiming to increase STEM participation in low socio-economic schools
A promising new pilot program has been launched to encourage more students in low socio-economic schools to enter physics and engineering careers.
Students who attend low SES schools may not have access to sufficient equipment or facilities to perform experiments that fulfil curriculum-based learning. Providing these students and groups with access to these facilities allows them to become familiar with the university environment.
