Beanie Festival sees students knit up a storm

Sandringham College’s inaugural Beanie Festival saw students, staff and community members pick up the knitting needles and get to work for a good cause.

Teacher Suzanna Arnott says other staff members have approached her to say that they want to learn to knit, in preparation for next winter’s Beanie Festival.

The beanies and scarves they created were displayed at the school, before being shipped off to help those in need ...
