All can achieve excellence

I recently came across an interesting article by Geoff Masters dating back to 2011 highlighting the power of expectation in relation to schooling. That is, students can live up to high expectations, but they can also live down (so to speak) to low expectations.

The article got me thinking back to my days at uni when there was a big focus on self-fulfilling prophecies ...
