Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to students, addressing individual needs to promote positive educational outcomes.
  • Collaborate with teachers, guidance officers, and external agencies to develop and implement effective student support strategies.
  • Assist in monitoring and improving student attendance, behaviour, and overall engagement.
  • Contribute to the development and delivery of programs aimed at enhancing student wellbeing and resilience.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to student support activities.
  • Participate in school events and initiatives that foster a positive and inclusive school culture.

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in supporting students in an educational setting.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, staff, and families.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Knowledge of child development and strategies to support students' social and emotional needs.
  • Proficiency in record-keeping and report preparation.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and staying informed about best practices in student support.
