North Lakes State College is seeking a passionate and student-centred Youth Support Coordinator to join our dedicated wellbeing and support team.

The Youth Support Coordinator plays a pivotal role in supporting students who may be at risk of disengaging from education and training.
Working collaboratively with students, families, school staff and external agencies, the successful applicant will provide targeted support and case management to assist students in overcoming barriers to learning and participation.
Key responsibilities of the role include:
- Referring at-risk students to appropriate agencies and support services that will assist them to overcome barriers to education and training.
- Providing individual support, case management and, where appropriate, group support programs to maximise student engagement with education and training.
- Building positive relationships with students and families to support wellbeing, resilience and successful participation in school.
- Collaborating with teachers, guidance officers, administration and external providers to develop and implement support strategies for students.
- Monitoring student wellbeing, attendance and engagement, and responding proactively to emerging concerns.

The Perfect Fit:
The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong interpersonal skills, a genuine commitment to supporting young people, and the ability to work collaboratively within a diverse and fast-paced school environment.
Experience in youth work, education, wellbeing or community services will be highly regarded.
