When a student needs time to work through their behaviour choices, a space is available to reflect upon, and organise, their re-entry to the class - the Responsible Thinking Classroom.

Step Into Your Next Chapter:

  • Identify and respond to barriers affecting student learning and engagement
  • Provide individual support and case management, and group support where appropriate
  • Refer students to external services and specialised support as needed
  • Maintain accurate daily records of student contact and follow-up actions
  • Develop and monitor post-program support to meet performance outcomes
  • Foster strong relationships between the school, students, and families to support retention and success
  • Conduct home visits, where appropriate, to advise and support positive educational outcomes
  • Work collaboratively with school staff and external partners to strengthen student wellbeing and attendance

What We're Looking For:

  • A caring, student-centred professional with strong communication skills
  • Experience in youth support, case management, community engagement, or related areas
  • The ability to build trusting relationships with young people, families, and community services
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Trained in wellbeing programs would be an advantage
