Job Title: Youth and Behaviour Support Worker
Role: Full time and Part time
Times: 8.30am - 3.30pm (Some Friday's are 12.30pm finish)
Pay: £85.00 - £105.00
Veritas Education is currently recruiting for experienced and new Youth Support Workers (YBSW) for the Leeds area to join their team of various Teaching Assistant and Behaviour Support Worker roles.
As a YBSW your role will mainly be supporting primary and secondary age students experiencing social, emotional and mental health needs, whilst managing the behaviour that comes with their needs. YBSW is a versatile role, you could be based in a SEMH/SEN setting helping maintain behavioural standards in and around the school or based in a mainstream 1:1 role focused on supporting challenging behaviour.
What-ever the role, as YBSW worker you will be using your own skills and knowledge to help build relationships with young adults and learners, deal with challenging and at-risk behaviour, and to help support them with their needs to the best of your ability.
