Teaching Assistant Vacancy - Year 6Start Date: Tuesday 7th January 2025

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our supportive team in Lancaster to join our supportive team in Year 6 on a long-term basis. This rewarding role involves working with the whole class as well as supporting pupils with learning delays.

Role Details:

  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:30 AM - 3:15 PM(Option for additional hours supporting our after-school club until 4:15 PM or 5:15 PM if interested.)

  • Hourly Rate: £14.20

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing in-class support for Year 6 pupils.

  • Delivering tailored assistance to pupils with learning delays.

  • Collaborating with teachers to create an inclusive learning environment.

    • What We Are Looking For:

  • Experience working with children, preferably in a school setting.

  • A patient, empathetic, and encouraging attitude.

  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

  • A commitment to supporting children's learning and development.
