Are you a passionate Year 5 Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in a welcoming and supportive primary school?
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a warm, inclusive and community-focused primary school in Colne, Lancashire, to recruit an enthusiastic Year 5 Class Teacher for a full-time maternity cover from September 2026 to February 2027.

You'll become part of a collaborative and dedicated staff team where teachers work together, share ideas and support one another to provide the best possible learning experiences for pupils.
We're looking for a teacher who:
Has recent experience teaching Year 5 or Upper Key Stage 2Delivers engaging, creative and well-structured lessonsHas strong classroom and behaviour management skillsSets high expectations for behaviour, progress and achievementUses assessment effectively to identify and support pupil progressCan adapt learning to meet the needs of all pupils, including SENDBuilds positive relationships with pupils, parents, carers and colleaguesCreates an inclusive classroom where every child feels valuedIs enthusiastic, organised and committed to making a positive differenceEnjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team⭐ What the school offers:
