Position: Temporary Year 4 Teacher Location: Burnley, Lancashire Start Date: ASAP Contract Type: Temporary, Full-time Salary: Competitive, depending on experience

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to join a vibrant and supportive school in Burnley on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will be joining a passionate team of educators, committed to providing high-quality teaching and fostering an engaging learning environment for all students.

About the Role:

As a Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering the primary school curriculum to a class of Year 4 pupils
  • Planning and preparing engaging lessons that meet the diverse needs of the students
  • Assessing and tracking pupil progress, providing feedback to both students and parents
  • Creating a positive classroom environment that promotes respect, engagement, and growth
  • Supporting students' social and emotional development
  • Collaborating with colleagues, including teaching assistants, to ensure the success of all learners
  • About You:

    To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
  • A passion for teaching and inspiring young learners
  • Experience working with primary-aged children, particularly in Year 4 (desirable but not essential)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and students
  • A commitment to the personal and academic development of all pupils
  • A positive and proactive approach to teaching and classroom management
