  • This is a full-time permanent contract, perfect for ECTs to make their mark in education. Year 4 Teacher required to start from September 2024.

    An exceptional Primary School in Thurrock is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Year 4 Teacher to start in September 2024 and hit the ground running. The school is ideally located in the town centre of Stanford-le-Hope, Thurrock and walking distance from the train station. The school has been graded as 'Good' by OFSTED and continues to achieve excellent results year on year. This is an incredible opportunity for an ECT to gain experience, develop their skills and join a strong school community.

    Year 4 Teacher will need to be:

    Year 4 Teacher Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Carry out teaching duties in accordance with the school's schemes of work, National Curriculum and designated subject areas.
  • Liaise with colleagues to deliver units of work in a collaborative way in accordance with the School Development Plan.
  • Work with teaching assistants, the SENCO and the inclusion team.
  • Set challenging targets for pupil attainment levels.
  • Be an exemplar teacher.
  • Share in the responsibility for the well-being and discipline of all pupils.
