Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Teacher to join our vibrant team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an innovative educator who is passionate about making a positive impact on young learners and contributing to the continued success of our school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, deliver, and evaluate engaging and effective lessons that meet the needs of all students in Year 2.
  • Foster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages students to develop their confidence and love for learning.
  • Assess, record, and report on student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their development.
  • Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and external agencies to ensure the best outcomes for students.
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to continually enhance teaching practice.

    • Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant teaching qualification.
  • Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably in Year 2.
  • A strong understanding of the National Curriculum and current educational practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to building positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
