Veritas Education are working with a supportive, friendly primary school in Lancaster who are seeking a committed Year 1 Teacher to join their team on a full‑time basis.

The Role

The school requires a teacher to start as soon as possible to cover a period of long-term sickness. This role will run until at least February half term, with a strong likelihood of extension depending on the staff member's recovery.

You will be teaching a well‑behaved and enthusiastic Year 1 class, supported by a helpful KS1 team and access to quality planning resources.

The school is easily accessible by public transport, making it ideal for candidates commuting within the Lancaster area.

    To be considered, you will need:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience teaching within KS1 (Year 1 desirable)
  • Strong behaviour management
