Role Summary
Visual Arts Teachers are responsible for designing and delivering innovative teaching programs aligned to Penrith Anglican College Learning Culture, policies, and practices. The study of visual art’s forms, styles and ideas enables young people to develop an interest in appreciation and enjoyment of art and design. Through critical reflection and acquiring understanding, knowledge and skills, students respond by creatively developing their own artistic ideas, experimenting with materials and resolving concepts as artworks. Visual Arts Teachers work as part of a team to nurture and develop learners who are relational, reflective, resilient, and resourceful. They are committed to continuous improvement and the pursuit of excellence.

- A completed Application Form for Employment for teachers
- A signed Penrith Anglican College Statement of Faith
- A cover letter addressing Key Responsibilities and Essential Skills and Attributes (no more than two pages).
- A Curriculum Vitae.
- Three Referees, one of whom should be your Church Minister or Pastor.
- Copies of qualifications.
- ‘100 Point’ proof of identity (e.g. Driver’s Licence, Medicare card, birth certificate, passport).
- Current Working with Children Check Number for paid work.
