Newman Senior Technical College, Port Macquarie
Newman Senior Technical College is one of the largest senior secondary Colleges on the NSW North Coast with one of the highest VET course enrolments in NSW. The College is a specialist facility providing students with opportunities to achieve their HSC and national qualifications.
We invite suitably qualified teachers to apply for the following positions:

VET Teachers
Automotive, Construction, Manufacturing and Engineering
Temporary, full time and part time positions commencing 31 January 2025 for the period of 12 months

To be considered for these roles it is preferable that you hold any or a combination of the follow qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment - TAE40122
- Certificate II in Automotive Vocational Preparation - AUR20720
- Certificate II in Construction Pathways - CPC20220
- Certificate III in Carpentry - CPC30220
- Certificate II in Engineering Pathways - MEM20413
- Teaching
Teaching Applicants must:
- hold a valid NSW Working with Children Check
- have full accreditation with NSW Educational Standards Authority (NESA)
- comply with the Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead Policy upon appointment
Criteria:
- have a knowledge of and commitment to the Catholic ethos and mission of the school
- provide evidence of qualifications in a specialised faculty
- able to work as a member of a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community
- ability to teach another subject
- a willingness to contribute positively as part of a professional learning community
- applicants need to be willing and able to participate in and support the religious dimension of the College
