Veritas Education is currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable Unqualified Nursery Practitioners to join our team on a flexible daily supply basis across a range of welcoming and supportive nurseries in Kingston and the surrounding areas.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable experience within Early Years settings while enjoying the flexibility to choose when they work. Whether you're seeking full-time supply work or just a few days each week, we have opportunities to fit around your availability.

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will support children aged 0-5 years, helping to create a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment where children can learn, play, and thrive in line with the EYFS framework.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • Previous experience working with children in nurseries, schools, childcare settings, or similar environments (desirable but not essential)
  • A genuine passion for supporting young children's learning and development
  • A caring, positive, and flexible approach
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • A willingness to learn and develop within the Early Years sector

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting children's learning and development through play-based activities
  • Assisting with daily nursery routines, including mealtimes, personal care, and outdoor play
  • Encouraging children's social, emotional, and communication development
  • Helping to maintain a safe, clean, and stimulating learning environment
  • Working collaboratively with nursery staff to meet the individual needs of all children
