The Tuckshop Convenor provides a balanced range of nutritional food at a reasonable
cost to students and staff within the school, while maintaining a high standard of
hygiene in the preparation, presentation and serving of food.
The Tuckshop Convenor coordinates the daily administration of the school canteen,
supervises canteen staff and provides quality customer service to students, clients and
staff through professional, timely and cost-effective canteen and catering services,
including in-house catering for College events.
As a member of the St Mary’s College staff, the Tuckshop Convenor is expected to
ensure the Catholic Ethos and Mercy Traditions of the College are maintained and
enhanced through their work, providing a welcoming and caring presence to our staff
and students every day.
To be eligible to be considered for this role you will:
- hold a Paid Employee Positive Notice Blue Card prior to commencement;
- be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment; and
- have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education.
