About the Role: 

As a Team Leader, you will work within the International Student Programs team to support the application process for overseas students who want to study at a Queensland state school. Overseas students are provided with the support and encouragement they need to realise their potential in a welcoming, inclusive and accessible learning environment.

Responsibilities include:

  • accessing and operating administrative and technical databases, process information and prepare associated reports
  • maintaining financial records management systems, including reconciling invoices
  • ensuring compliance with all Commonwealth and State Acts relating to the entry and completion of educational programs by overseas students, and with policies and guidelines of the department in relation to such matters
  • managing the work flow of the team.
  • maintaining positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including school staff, staff of overseas institutions, overseas representatives and students
  • preparing reports and producing statistics using databases, managing the accuracy of data and verifying data and produce monthly reports
