Role Details:

  • Job Title: Teaching Assistant
  • Location: Lancaster and surrounding areas
  • Employment Type: Full-time & Part-time positions available
  • Salary: Competitive, based on experience
  • Start Date: Immediate and upcoming term starts

    • Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting teachers in the classroom by assisting with lesson preparation and classroom management
  • Providing one-on-one or small group support to students who need additional help
  • Encouraging student engagement and positive learning behavior
  • Helping create an inclusive and safe learning environment for all pupils
  • Assisting with administrative tasks such as preparing materials and recording student progress

    • Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential - full training can be provided
  • A genuine interest in working with children and supporting their development
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
  • A valid DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
