Job Title: Teaching Assistant / TA3/HLTA

Location: Primary School in Accrington

Job Description:

We are looking for a TA3/HLTA, to provide targeted Maths interventions for Year 6 pupils, focusing on small group and one-to-one sessions to address specific learning needs and ensure preparation for SATs. You will track and monitor pupils' progress, working closely with the class teacher to adapt interventions and support personalised learning plans. Additionally, you will assist in delivering lessons, preparing resources, and providing regular feedback to help pupils build confidence and improve their mathematical skills.

Key Requirements:

  • TA3 or HLTA qualified with strong knowledge of the Year 6 Maths curriculum.
  • Proven experience working with children, ideally in a primary school setting, and the ability to deliver effective interventions.
  • Strong communication skills, organisational abilities, and a patient, supportive approach to working with pupils.
