About the Role
Veritas Education is working in partnership with a supportive secondary school in the Bradford area to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant for a full-time, long-term position starting in September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about supporting young people in their education and helping pupils achieve their full potential. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers and support staff to provide high-quality classroom support and contribute to a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Support teachers in delivering engaging and effective lessonsProvide one-to-one and small-group support to students where requiredAssist students with their academic, social, and emotional developmentHelp maintain a positive and inclusive learning environmentSupport classroom management and behaviour expectationsWork with teaching staff to implement learning strategies and interventionsPromote student engagement, confidence, and independenceThe Ideal Candidate
Has experience working with young people in an educational setting (desirable but not essential)Holds a Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant experienceDemonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skillsIs patient, adaptable, and committed to supporting student progressHas a positive and proactive approach to learning and developmentIs committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young peopleWhat the School Offers
