We have a variety of opportunities available, including flexible day-to-day supply, short-term cover, and long-term placements, offering something to suit every level of experience and availability.

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who have previous experience working with young people aged 11-16 and are passionate about supporting students to succeed both academically and personally.

The Role

As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within the classroom.
  • Work alongside teaching staff to deliver engaging and effective learning experiences.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group support where required.
  • Assist students with additional learning needs, SEND, SEMH, or behavioural challenges.
  • Help create a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.
  • Encourage student engagement, confidence, and achievement.

    • We Are Looking For

  • Previous experience working in a secondary school or with secondary-aged students.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A proactive, flexible, and positive attitude.
  • Confidence supporting students with varying abilities and needs.
  • A genuine passion for education and helping young people succeed.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
