The Role

As a Secondary School Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support students across Key Stages 3 and 4 within the classroom.
  • Work alongside teachers to support learning and student progress.
  • Provide one-to-one and small-group intervention support.
  • Assist pupils with SEND, SEMH, and additional learning needs where required.
  • Promote positive behaviour and help create an engaging learning environment.
  • Build positive relationships with students and support their personal and academic development.

    • Who We're Looking For

  • Previous experience working in a secondary school or with young people aged 11-16.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A positive, proactive, and flexible attitude.
  • Confidence managing behaviour and supporting student engagement.
  • A genuine passion for education and supporting young people.
  • An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one).
